In 1995 I was given "The David Urwin Arts Award" and "Memorial Scholarship" from

Dashca Needlework Shop, this enabled me to get started to achieve my City and Guilds.

I completed my City and Guilds Part1 and Part 2 in 2003.

 In 2002 I became a founder member of "Fen Edge Textiles", and enjoy the camaraderie

in the group.

 I have exhibited with the group at Textiles In Focus, Fashion and Embroidery Show

at Harrogate, Blickling Hall, Warner Archive Braintree, Sutton Hoo and Maldon Essex.

  I like participating in various workshops and mixed media classes, these help to

inspire me in furthering my ambitions in the embroidery field.
